Keystone Research Center Economists Available to Comment on SCOTUS Janus Case Oral Arguments and Worker Actions
Harrisburg, February 22
Media Advisory to Editorial Boards and Other Media
This coming Monday, the Supreme Court will hold oral arguments on Janus vs. AFSCME, a case which could reverse a longstanding precedent and compromise across the country workers’ freedom to join together into effective unions. On the day of the hearing and the days leading up to it, workers will be rallying in Pennsylvania and nationally to highlight the danger to working families posed by the case and the importance of workers’ freedom to unionize to the middle class and responsive democracy in America.
Keystone Research Center economists Stephen Herzenberg and Mark Price are available to help the editorial boards and other media understand the significance of the case and offer a perspective on it. Media are also directed to two other resources on the issue.
